Export Design turns your design into a finished file, rendered right here in your browser by the photoaicompany renderer. No uploads, no queues for static formats — pick the format and scale, and the file is produced from the exact same document your preview shows.
PNG and JPG render at your chosen scale (0.5×, 1×, or 2× the canvas) and download immediately. SVG redraws the whole design as a resolution-independent vector file — perfect for logos and anything that must scale. PDF renders the design and opens your browser's print dialog, where you choose “Save as PDF” as the destination.
Exporting video with motion? That job is queued to the dedicated FFmpeg renderer in the full photoaicompany editor — static exports here cover everything else. Exports are free and need no account.
How it works
Pick a design — a live preview loads so you export exactly what you see.

Choose a scale: 0.5×, 1×, or 2× the canvas size.

Tips
Designing for print? Export at 2× for extra pixel density, or use PDF and print from that.
JPG files are smaller than PNGs — pick JPG for photo-heavy designs you share online.
SVG stays razor-sharp at any size, making it the right choice for logos and simple graphics.
JPG does not support transparency — if your design relies on a transparent background, export PNG instead.
Exporting a photo-heavy design for the web? Pick JPG and drop the quality to 70–80% — the file shrinks dramatically with barely visible difference.
What it costs
Free on this site — and it can't be metered. Export a Design uses no AI and runs entirely in your browser: no usage counters, nothing sent to our servers to bill. When credit metering arrives in the app, local operations like this one will never consume AI credits — only server-side AI generations will.
Frequently asked questions
What happens with each format?
PNG and JPG are rendered and downloaded directly in your browser. SVG downloads as a vector file. PDF opens a print window — choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. Video export is queued to the FFmpeg renderer in the full photoaicompany editor.
How do I export with a transparent background?
Pick PNG or SVG, tick "Transparent background", then Export — the canvas color is skipped so the file keeps its alpha channel, ready for logos, stickers, and overlays. JPG cannot store transparency (and PDF goes through the print window), so the option is disabled for those formats.
What is the export scale for?
0.5× makes a smaller file for drafts and sharing; 1× exports at exact canvas pixels; 2× gives you a higher-resolution file for crisp display on retina screens.
Why would SVG work when PNG fails?
Some images block canvas export for security reasons (cross-origin). SVG export redraws everything as vector shapes and text, so it usually works when raster formats are blocked.
What does the JPG quality slider do?
When you pick JPG, a quality slider appears (50–100%, default 92%). Lower quality makes a much smaller file for sharing online; 100% keeps the most detail for photo-heavy designs. The setting applies to JPG exports only — PNG is always lossless.

Design
Duplicate before experimenting: the original stays safe while the copy takes risks. Archive finished designs instead of deleting — old work becomes tomorrow’s template.
Pro tip: One design, one job. Split multi-purpose files early.

Scale
Think of this control as seasoning: essential in the right amount, ruinous in excess. Start subtle. The default value is a sensible starting point chosen for the most common case — depart from it deliberately.
Pro tip: If a control’s effect mystifies you, push it to both extremes — the middle will make sense after.

Transparent background
Opacity lets layers breathe through each other. A text layer at 85% over a photo feels printed into the scene rather than pasted on top. Use it for watermarks, subtle backgrounds, and softening elements that compete.
Pro tip: Ghosted shapes at low opacity make premium backgrounds.

Avoid the traps
Three mistakes to avoid with Export a Design
✕
Decorating before messaging
Effects applied before the words are final get redone. Fix: lock the copy first, style second.
✕
Ignoring the safe zones
Platforms crop edges and cover corners with UI. Fix: keep critical content inside the central 80%.
✕
Centered paragraphs
Centering suits headlines; long centered paragraphs tire the eye. Fix: left-align anything over two lines.
